Best at His Best, Whips Power Wednesday, June 3rd , 2015 Ric Best pitched a strong game at Billies Ballpark, blanking the Palm Springs Power, 8-0. Best allowed no runs on 6 hits, totaled 11 strikeouts and gave up no walks. Ontario manager said he could tell immediately it was going to be a good game for Best. "Right from the start, you could see how economical he was," said. "He threw a lot of strikes." On the season, Best has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 2.77 ERA in 6 starts.
