Candelária Takes PCAA's Best Bat Award Wednesday, July 1st , 2015 Esteban Candelária put together a good June to earn the Pacific AA Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Bakersfield officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Basques center fielder posted a .305 batting average with 9 home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored. To date this season, Candelária is hitting .266 with 17 home runs. |
