Rolla Beats Roswell 13-1, Patterson Ks 15 Friday, July 17th , 2015 Austin Patterson of the Rolla Blades put on a pitching clinic at Ballpark of Rolla, as he struck out 15 Roswell Grays in a 13-1 victory. Patterson, who is tied for 5th in the PAA in complete games with 7, was simply magnificent, holding the Grays to 3 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," Patterson said, "but eventually my curveball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Patterson's performance, Blades manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." Over the season Patterson has thrown 140.2 innings and dished out 182 strikeouts with a 7-6 mark and a 2.56 ERA. View Boxscore |
