Playoffs? No Chance for Palm Springs Wednesday, August 5th , 2015 The baseball world has known for a long time that the Palm Springs Power were not destined for the playoffs this year. But now it is official, as the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Power have missed the playoffs 57 times in their 59 years as a BSBL Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 11th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2004. |
