Player of the Week: Helena's Starks Monday, August 24th , 2015 Zach Starks is respected by most Helena Handbaskets fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Pioneer AA Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .440 average (11-for-25) with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season, Starks has banged out 145 hits in 483 at-bats for a .300 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .360 pace and his totals also include 65 RBIs and 68 runs scored. |
