Ferguson Mows Down 15 Indians Tuesday, August 25th , 2015 Hutchinson Salt Hawks starter Cecil Ferguson brought his best stuff to Hobart-Detter Field against the Spokane Indians, striking out 15 batters in his club's 8-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 22-year-old Ferguson gave up 6 hits in his 9 innings of work and issued no walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my sinker was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." In 14 starts this season, Ferguson has chalked up a 8-2 record and a 2.70 ERA.
