PAA's Premier Starter is Rodgers Tuesday, September 1st , 2015 When the Diamonds skipper wrote Rodgers on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in August he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 1.04 ERA in 0 starts. The gifted Diamonds star pitched 34.2 innings, fanned 52 and held opposing teams to a .195 average. For his excellent mound work Rodgers was named the PAA Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. This year, Rodgers has posted a 9-12 mark in 21 starts and has a 3.40 ERA. |
