Morgan Spins Shutout Against Cowboys Saturday, September 5th , 2015 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Calgary Cowboys as starter Gary Morgan shut them out, 5-0, at Field of the Foghorns. The San Jose pitcher struck out 15 and walked 1 while allowing 4 hits. "Morgan was good but he wasn't flawless," Calgary manager said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from San Jose, but this is on us." Thus far this season, Morgan has posted a 7-3 record, started 11 games, struck out 96 batters in 81.2 innings and compiled a 3.64 ERA. View Boxscore |
