Austin Celebrates Wild Card Win Monday, September 1st , 2014 José Ortíz of the Austin Cowboys said fighting for a playoff spot is an "absolute grind" in Big Sky Baseball. The grind is now over, as the Cowboys have captured a wild card berth. "It's a weight off our shoulders and now we can exhale," said the starting pitcher. "It's hard to describe how much effort and focus goes into this." Team manager William Wild said he believes his club has something to prove and they are looking forward to the postseason. |
