Cheyenne Moves on to Round 2 Tuesday, September 16th , 2014 The Cheyenne Big Horn have beaten the Shreveport Steelers and will advance to the Round 2. Cheyenne won the final game by a 4-1 count to take the series 3-1. The Big Horn triumph was no doubt in large part because of the performance of starting pitcher Brian Carroll, who was named MVP of the series. "The only thing that matters is that we're off to the next round and one step closer to a Round 3," he said. The Cheyenne Big Horn will play against the Peoria Paratroopers in the next round. Peoria won their series against the Texarcana Hilljacks 3 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. View Boxscore |
