Morris Pitches Blades to Shutout Victory Sunday, May 29th , 2016 Fans at Ballpark of Rolla witnessed the Rolla Blades blank the Texarcana Hilljacks, 2-0, on the strength of a superb effort from starter Ben Morris. The Rolla right-hander allowed 4 hits in recording the shutout. "Ben was good today, but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Rolla manager said. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it." Thus far this season, Morris has tossed 67.2 innings in 10 starts, fanned 62 batters, walked 30 and put up a 3.46 ERA with 4 wins and 4 losses. View Boxscore |
