Duluth Beats Roswell 12-0, Alexander Ks 16

Led by an outstanding performance from starter Bill Alexander, the Duluth Dukes topped the Roswell Grays by a score of 12-0 at Dukes Ballpark. The 23-year-old Alexander brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 5 hits and giving up 2 walks.
"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Grays manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
Over the season Alexander has thrown 77.2 innings and dished out 92 strikeouts with a 6-2 mark and a 2.20 ERA.
