PAA Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Thursday, October 15th , 2015 Ángel Conner has won the 2015 Pioneer AA Reliever of the Year Award, which at age 34 is a "milestone achievement" for the Cheyenne Big Horn reliever. "I feel accomplished to win this when there are other younger, stronger, harder-throwing guys out there," he said. The Bethpage, New York native's numbers speak for themselves, as he captured the award with 29 saves in 68 relief appearances, compiling 105.2 innings. He had 142 strikeouts and 28 walks, a record of 9-3 and an ERA of 1.62. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Joe Carroll of the Peoria Paratroopers finished second in voting, while Jeff Todd of the Rolla Blades finished third.
