Best PCAA Reliever Named Thursday, October 15th , 2015 Jessie García was a calming influence out of the Santa Cruz Sailors bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 23-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Pacific AA Reliever of the Year Award for 2015. The Orange, California native won the award with 33 saves in 83 relief appearances, 147 strikeouts in 121.2 innings and a record of 12-9 to go with his 1.48 ERA. He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Jeff Lawson of the San Jose Foghorns finished second in voting, while Jorge Vera of the Santa Cruz Sailors finished third.
