Aucoin Whiffs 16, St. Joseph Tops Roswell Thursday, June 9th , 2016 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Alex Aucoin, the St. Joseph Riders topped the Roswell Grays by a score of 5-2 at Henderson Grounds. The 26-year-old Aucoin brought his top game to the mound, striking out 16 batters while allowing 6 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Grays manager said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." To date this season, Aucoin has compiled a 7-3 record with a 1.59 ERA in 13 starts. View Boxscore |
