Surf Plugged by Harding, Nets, 8-0 Tuesday, June 14th , 2016 The Kailua Surf were almost helpless in their 8-0 loss to the Tucson Nets and hurler Adam Harding. Harding kept the Surf confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Harding," Kailua manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had no walks and 11 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Harding said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." In 14 starts this season, Harding has compiled a 5-5 record and a 2.35 ERA. View Boxscore |
