Ramos Goes Deep 3 Times Thursday, June 16th , 2016 Shreveport Steelers third baseman Juan Ramos had a magnificent game against the Odessa Oilmen, rocketing three balls out of Steelers Ballpark to help the Steelers win, 23-2. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Ramos went 5-for-5 with 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Shreveport manager said later. "Seems like Juan found his home run stroke today." Juan Ramos singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Eduardo González in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 7th. For the season, Ramos is hitting .247, batted in 14 runs with 3 home runs and 12 runs scored. |
