One Run Enough for El Paso Wednesday, August 21st , 2013 Richard Rogers of the El Paso Diablos humiliated the Peoria Paratroopers at Aristocrats Ballpark today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 8 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Peoria manager , after the game. Rogers whiffed 6 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Rogers said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." Thus far this season, Rogers has tossed 208 innings in 26 starts, fanned 239 batters, walked 74 and put up a 1.90 ERA with 14 wins and 8 losses. View Boxscore |
