PAA Votes Paratroopers Gill Top Player Monday, July 11th , 2016 A battle-tested Allan Gill declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Peoria second baseman collected the Pioneer AA Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .385 average, 10 hits in 26 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season, Gill has hit .325 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 17 times. |
