Napoleoni Helps Seattle Outscore San Jose
The Seattle Rainiers and San Jose Owls completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Seattle Rainiers defeated the San Jose Owls, 12-10, at Sick's Stadium. Seattle first baseman Adolfo Napoleoni had a superb performance. He was 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Picking up his 3rd save was 31-year old right-handed pitcher Kevin Banks.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Rainiers grabbed the lead when Robert Wright rapped a two-out single. Seattle was trailing 8-7, when Wright hit a 2-run single off Matt Bruce to put his team in front, 9-8.

"We ground out the win," said Wright. "That's all that matters."

The victory makes Seattle 7-4, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2015.
