Poole Rips 2 Homers in 5-2 Win
Beavers left fielder Jim Poole left his mark on his team's 5-2 win over the San Francisco Seals. Poole, who won the Young Buck in 2014, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for Portland in the contest. The defeat makes the Seals 6-9.

With Portland leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Poole hit a screwball from Jorge Garza for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Beavers ahead, 4-1.

Poole said his team "played with determination."
