Strip Take Home 3-1 Win Over Phoenix

The Las Vegas Strip got a good effort from starter Jesús García in defeating the Phoenix Fireballs at Banditos Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. García picked up the win for Las Vegas, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Earning his 4th save of the year was Charles Chandler.
The Strip had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 3-1, Las Vegas, with two out. Phoenix, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Peter Love dug in at the plate, but on a 1-0 fastball, he grounded out.
