The San Jose Owls overcame a good performance by Sacramento catcher Tso-lin Wang to knock off Sacramento, 6-5, at Ballpark of San Jose. Wang was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. San Jose reliever Gabriel Mitchell got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Sam Neal was tagged with the loss. With the win, San Jose elevates its record to 9-9.

The decisive blow was delivered by Joshua Lutz in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run home run off 33-year old right-handed pitcher Sam Neal to win the game for San Jose. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was terrific getting this win," Lutz said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
