A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Reno Silver Sox and Minneapolis Millers.

The Reno Silver Sox went home winners at Alamo Park, thanks in large part to starter Reginald Morgan. Morgan stifled the Minneapolis Millers, enabling Reno to grab the 5-0 win. Morgan got the win, improving to 2-2. He gave up 7 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. He allowed no runs.

John Wesman was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI for Reno. The 29-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Anthony Miskell. It was his 26th hit of the season.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Morgan told the Reno Chronicle.

Minneapolis, with the loss, is 8-10.
