At Arthur Bryant Ballpark, the Kansas City Jacks and New Orleans Pelicans were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The New Orleans Pelicans pasted the Kansas City Jacks with a convincing 11-2 defeat at Arthur Bryant Ballpark. Noel Floyd was a prime factor in the New Orleans win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winning pitcher was 35-year old right-handed pitcher Ronnie Gordon. He tossed 91 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits.

In the first inning, Floyd had a 2-run home run for New Orleans. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Pelicans on top, 2-0.
