The Portland Beavers defeated the San Bernardino Stallions, 10-3, in Pacific Coast League action at Perris Hill Park. Portland pitcher Robbie McDaniel had a standout performance. Now 8-11, the Stallions have not played well this season.

Ed Lott hit a run-scoring double off Manuel Torres in the top of the fourth, which put the Beavers in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Lott had 3 singles, while going 4 for 5.

Portland manager Pete Donut commended his team for "putting the hammer down."
