Carlos Moreno of the Anaheim Mice put on a pitching clinic at Ballpark of Stockton, as he struck out 15 Fresno Arktos in a 5-1 victory. Moreno was simply magnificent, holding the Arktos to 4 hits. He walked 2.

"I felt okay at the beginning," Moreno said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."

When asked about Moreno's performance, Mice manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
