De La Rosa on Fire, Named Player of the Week

Pitchers who faced the Riverside Firebolts last week were happy to see Luis De La Rosa in the rear-view mirror. The 23-year-old left fielder was dubbed the Pacific AAA Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .440 clip.
For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
This season, De La Rosa is hitting at a .268 pace with 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and has scored 9 times.
