The exploits of center fielder Billy Bunch, who leads the PL in stolen bases with 7, helped the New Orleans Pelicans defeat the Las Vegas Strip, 8-2. Bunch was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The defeat makes the Strip 7-16.
Early in the game, Bunch had a run-scoring double for New Orleans. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Pelicans on top, 2-1.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Charlie Donovan.
