The Austin Cowboys finished off the Las Vegas Strip, 6-4. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Luis López. López was 2-4 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Cowboys. Getting the save was Will Goodwin, his 7th. Las Vegas, now 7-19, continues its tough start.

López had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Pedro González, he banged a 2-run double to right-center, giving the Cowboys a 5-4 lead. It was the 9th double of the year for López.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said López. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
