The Seattle Rainiers picked up a win at Sick's Stadium, dropping the Oakland Acorns, 4-3. Pedro Romero, who finished 2nd in the CL in wins with 17 last year, was the difference-maker. Earning his 6th save of the year was Kevin Banks. With their winning streak at 4, the Rainiers have raced to a strong start this season.

Daniel Fernández, who led the CL in RBI with 116 in 2011, chipped in a solo home run for Seattle in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
