Aztecs Suffer 4-2 Home Loss
|
The San Francisco Seals and Mexico City Aztecs played an exciting game.
San Francisco turned a good performance from starting pitcher Edgardo García into a 4-2 triumph over the Mexico City Aztecs at Estadio Tenochtitlan. The winning pitcher was García, now 3-2. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.
Jeff Brown had a direct impact on the outcome. Brown contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put San Francisco up, 2-0.
"Edgardo has got a slow heartbeat," said San Francisco manager Jamming Econo. "He doesn't panic or anything."
The loss lowers the Mexico City record to 12-17.
