Cowboys Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Austin Cowboys took Kansas City pitcher Jack Pearson's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Clark Field. The final score had Austin getting past the Jacks, 4-3. Pearson went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Austin reliever Jack García picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Don Follett took the loss. With the loss, Kansas City sinks to 1-2.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bradley O'Harly in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Don Follett to win the game for Austin. The home crowd went nuts.

O'Harly said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
