The Homer Yetis beat the Sacramento Ironhorse, 8-5, with major props going to second baseman Ron Davis. On the day, Davis belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Yetis. With the win, Homer boosts its record to 14-17.

In the top of the eighth, Davis put his team in front with his 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Pedro Ortíz, made it 6-5, Homer.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Davis told the Homer Observer.
