Angels Get Hard-Earned Win
The Los Angeles Angels had to overcome a big game from Denver left fielder Jon Hunt to leave Wrigley Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-4. Hunt went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Los Angeles reliever Bob García was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Emílio González took the loss. With the win, the Angels improved to 15-20.

Sadahige Miyazaki was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angels pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Miyazaki told the Los Angeles Citizen.
