Stallions Fall Short, 3-2, at Dallas
Dallas got a strong outing from Cecil Rivera as the Eagles defeated the San Bernardino Stallions, 3-2, at Burnett Field. The winner was Ray Gui in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Michael Snyder took the loss. Fred Davis finished the game for Dallas and earned his 8th save.

Dallas took a 2-1 lead on Júlio Chávez's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Chávez hit in the bottom of the seventh, left San Bernardino pitcher Michael Snyder visibly frustrated.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Rivera.

The third-place Eagles have won 5 consecutive games.
