Sacramento beat Los Angeles in a rain-soaked ballgame.

The Sacramento Ironhorse stopped the Los Angeles Angels, 4-2, behind an impressive performance from Ángel Barrón. The 2012 Young Buck winner made life miserable for Los Angeles pitching. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Luis Rivera. He is now 2-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings.

Had Barrón not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Barrón hit a 2-run single. The Ironhorse took the lead, 4-2, and never looked back.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Barrón.

With the win, the Ironhorse sit at 20-16.
