Ironhorse Get Plucky, 3-2 Win Over Angels
The Sacramento Ironhorse sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

The Sacramento Ironhorse wanted a good start from Dave Sackett -- and he delivered one. The result was a 3-2 Sacramento win over the Los Angeles Angels at Ironhorse Stadium. Sacramento reliever Pedro Ortíz was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Bob García took the loss.

Bob McBride was the walk-off hero for Sacramento. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ironhorse left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a good effort all around," said McBride.

The win for the Ironhorse lifted their record to 21-16.
