The Mexico City Aztecs picked up a win at Estadio Tenochtitlan, taking down the San Bernardino Stallions, 5-3. Starting pitcher James Thomas was a big reason why. Earning his 13th save of the year was Alfredo García. This loss makes it 7 in a row for San Bernardino.

The Aztecs got a big at-bat from left fielder Rafael Costa. For the game, Costa was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Mexico City a 3-0 lead.
