Angels Knock Off Owls at Wrigley Field

The Los Angeles Angels spoiled a good performance by San Jose first baseman Tommy Booth, bumping off San Jose, 7-3, at Wrigley Field. Booth was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was 32-year old left-handed pitcher Jarred Nash. He tossed 105 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits.
