González Hits 2 home runs in Rainiers Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the San Jose Owls and Seattle Rainiers get after it.

The Seattle Rainiers clobbered the San Jose Owls, 11-3, at Sick's Stadium. Leading the onslaught was Jorge González. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Seattle. Martín Sánchez, who finished 4th in the CL in innings pitched with 245.0 in 2014, was the winner. He's now 4-3. The loser was Mike Stewart.

In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 1-1 tie, Seattle pitcher Martín Sánchez reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Seattle on top, 2-1.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Seattle manager Ulrath Unclean.

The setback makes San Jose 20-26.
