The Sacramento Ironhorse used an offensive barrage to beat the Mexico City Aztecs, 10-1, at Ironhorse Stadium. Francisco Rivera led the way, going 4-for-5 for Sacramento. After today's action, Sacramento sits at 28-20; Mexico City slips to 22-26.

Sacramento left fielder Bob McBride contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 52nd hit of the season and put the Ironhorse ahead, 3-0.

Mexico City manager Jaime Martinez called the blowout loss "not what we wanted."
