The Minneapolis Millers beat the Las Vegas Strip, 5-3. Minneapolis pitcher and Mason, Ohio, native Donald Richter led the way. Richter yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-1. The Millers improved to 19-28.
