Lyons goes 3-for-4 in Phoenix Win
The 11-8 Phoenix win over New Orleans was due in large part to Kevin Lyons. The Fireballs center fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6. Jorge Padilla, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 1.1 innings of relief. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Getting the save was Dan Conway, his 9th.

In the top of the sixth, the Fireballs grabbed the lead when Lyons hit his 12th double of the season. The 2-run double off Adrian Palmer made it 10-8, Phoenix.

"Kevin raked," said Phoenix manager Jarien Smith.

Phoenix, at 28-23, occupies third place in the Pioneer League North.
