Lutz Hits 2 home runs in Owls Win
The San Jose Owls began the 2015 season with a convincing 6-5 win over the San Francisco Seals at Ballpark of San Jose. Most impressive was San Jose left fielder Joshua Lutz, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. David Gómez was credited with the save for San Jose, his 1st of the season.

Javier Machado, who finished 4th in the CL in doubles with 41 in 2013, helped out the San Jose cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Machado.
