New Orleans Gets 6-2 Win
|
Pedro Hardy, who finished 3rd in the PL in wins with 16 in 2012, was locked in. The right-hander led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 6-2 win against the Minneapolis Millers at Nicollet Park. New Orleans is now 5-1.
With New Orleans leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Hardy hit a run-scoring single off Minneapolis hurler Dirk Veeck. It was the 1st hit of the season for Hardy and put his team ahead, 3-1.
"For the most part, I felt like I did a pretty good job with executing the pitches I was throwing," said Hardy.
