Dominant Performance by Enríquez in Hollywood Win

The home crowd had a good time watching the San Jose Owls and Hollywood Stars get after it.
The Hollywood Stars got a stellar effort from pitcher Alberto Enríquez, helping Hollywood score a win over the visiting San Jose Owls, 7-1. Hollywood now has a record of 27-23 with the win.
Enríquez, the winner, is now 3-0. In 8.1 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 3 hits, while collecting 10 Ks. He essentially shut down the San Jose offense.
"I think it just wasn't our night," said San Jose skipper Sean Hogan.
