Ironhorse left fielder Bob McBride left his mark on his team's 7-4 win over the Long Beach Ports. McBride, who is tied for 3rd in the CL in triples with 4, was 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 3 times for Sacramento in the contest. Arthur Wise, the winner, improved to 6-3. He held the Ports to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Sacramento is now 35-23, while Long Beach is 26-31.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when catcher Tso-lin Wang, who led the CL in doubles with 51 in 2011, hit a double. The Ironhorse went on to win.
