In a tightly-contested game between the Los Angeles Angels and the Hollywood Stars, pitcher Francisco Villalobos was outstanding. The Los Angeles right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the CL in complete games with 1, propelled his team's 2-1 win. Los Angeles now sports a record of 27-32.

Randy Sterling was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angels right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
