Millers 10-6 Winners Over Homer
A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Steve Graves, who finished 4th in the PL in stolen bases with 51 last year, led the Minneapolis Millers to a win over the Homer Yetis, 10-6. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Darwin Madden. The last-place Millers are 25-33.

David Tobías had a big 3-run home run for the Millers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Minneapolis leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a sinker from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Roy Roberts and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Millers on top, 5-0.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Minneapolis manager Bob T. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
